Abstract:
To provide a lock mechanism of a press molding apparatus which facilitates prior assessment of the lock mechanism by allowing the lock mechanism to see from the outside.SOLUTION: A lock mechanism of a press molding apparatus includes: an interlocking member 33 that is moved to a cushion 23 in interlock with movement of a pad 13 in drawing of a metal plate B; a block 34 that is provided on a gap 33a between the cushion 23 and the interlocking member 33 so as to be capable of being inserted at the bottom dead center of the relatively moved pad 13 and the cushion 23; a cam base 31 that is moved relatively to the cushion 23; a cam slide 32 that is brought into contact with the cam base 31 according to the relative movement of the pad 13 and the cushion 23 and is moved toward the gap 33a; a first spring (38) that energizes the block 34 toward the gap 33a by movement of the cam slide 32; and a second spring (39) that energizes the block 34 inserted to the gap 33a toward an initial position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
