PURPOSE: To ensure control performance of temperature of hot water which flows into a hot water storing tank and reliability of a device without a large increase in the cost of a pump.
CONSTITUTION: To an inlet of a hot water heat exchanger 2 of a heat pump, a first water feeding circuit 8 leading from a hot water tank 6 through a pump 7 is connected. In the first water feeding circuit 8, a subsidiary heater 9 is provided on the downstream side of a water temperature sensor 11 and the hot water heat exchanger 2. An outlet of the subsidiary heater 9 and the hot water tank 6 are connected by means of a hot water feeding pipe 10. A second water feeding circuit 16 is provided which leads from an inlet of the hot water heat exchanger 9, through a solenoid valve 17, bypasses the hot water heat exchanger 2 and reaches the subsidiary heater 9. Further a controller 19 is provided which controls the heat pump, the solenoid valve 17, the subsidiary heater 9 and the pump 7 based on two temperatures sensed by the water temperature sensor 11. The controller 19 controls so that, when temperature boundary layer in the hot water tank 6 reaches the first water feeding circuit 8, the temperature sensed by the water temperature sensor 11 rises up to a first set value, the heat pump is stopped and the solenoid valve 17 is opened to make water flow into the second water feeding circuit 16, and also input into the subsidiary heater 9 is increased, and if a second set value is reached, the subsidiary heater 9 and the pump 7 are both stopped.
