Abstract:

PURPOSE: To constitute the running vehicle which can be started and stopped automatically by following a movement of an operator without necessitating and operation for a start and a stop executed by the operator.
CONSTITUTION: A transmitting unit U1 for transmitting signals (p.e) of an ultrasonic wave and a radio wave is provided on an operator S side, and a receiving unit U2 for receiving the signals (p.e) of the ultrasonic wave and the radio wave is provided on a running vehicle A side, a difference of an arrival time of the signals (p.e) of the ultrasonic wave and the radio wave from the transmitting unit U1 to the receiving unit U2 is compared and detected by a controller C2, the running vehicle A is controlled so that a distance (x) between the operator S and the running vehicle A becomes constant, and also, an arrival distance comparison delay controller D is provided in the receiving unit U2, and the distance (x) between the operator S and the running vehicle A can be adjusted by changing the arrival time of the signal (p) of the ultrasonic wave by the delay controller D.
