A physical element of one of displacement, force, and a speed applied to a mass point or a physical element of a combination of them is set as a movement condition together with a temporal element, and the movement distance of the mass point is calculated in every unit time while the given temporal element is taken into account and stored in a memory for movement condition computation, element by element. The next position to which the mass point should move to is computed from the stored movement distance and drawn. Thus, the next position to which the mass point should move is computed from the current position data on the mass point by using the physical element saved in the memory and stored in a memory for the current position data, and then the memory for condition computation is cleared. The current position is drawn and a series of arithmetic processes is repeated at intervals of the unit time to dynamically draw the single mass point or shape under the movement conditions. The direction and extent of movement are computed while taking the force, speed, etc., into account, so that the dynamic shape can be represented in natural form.
