To provide a digital television broadcast receiver for a mobile body, capable of succeedingly viewing a digital television broadcast, even if the reception state of a digital television signal has deteriorated.

A control circuit 11 of the mobile body use digital television broadcast receiver 10 discriminates the reception state of a high-vision signal. That is, when reception electric field strength data indicate an electric field strength greater than the prescribed reception electric field strength and error rate data indicate an error rate smaller than the prescribed error rate, the receiver continuously receives the high-vision signal. When the received electric field strength data indicate reception electric field strength smaller than the prescribed received electric field strength or the error rate data indicate an error rate greater than the prescribed error rate, the receiver automatically switches the mobile phone signal to its reception signal. Thus, even in the case of the reception state incapable of receiving the high-vision signal, since the receiver automatically receives the mobile phone signal, a user can succeedingly view the digital television broadcast program, with contents which are the same as those of the high-vision broadcast program.
