PURPOSE: To make the device compact and to minimize the installation space by operating each mechanism at nearly fixed position and eliminating the sliding mechanism in the axial direction.
CONSTITUTION: A swinging member 31 is swung with a pin 32 as a center in the direction B by a hydraulic cylinder to lift arms 40, 50, then, a bolt 81 is loosened and a bolt 80 is screwed up to incline a slanted frame 70 and arms 40, 50 in the direction A by a prescribed angle and to make the arms 40, 50 parallel to the shaft centre of a spindle 11. Then, the arm 40 is moved by the hydraulic cylinder 90 and the arm 50 is moved by the hydraulic cylinder 91 to widen the width interval of both arms 40, 50 to fit it to the width interval between the grooves 2a, 3a of the spindle 11. Further, the swinging member 31 is swung by the hydraulic cylinder to lift up the arms 40, 50, and notched parts 41, 52 are engaged with the grooves 12a, 13a, to support the spindle 11 by the arms 40, 50. The width interval of each arm 40, 50 is reduced by the hydraulic cylinders 90, 91 respectively, and the spindle 11 is taken off from the rolling roll which is connected to both ends of the spindle through a coupling.
