The device for separating the grommet 90 includes: a base 91 for placing a base plate securing a grip with the grommet; a punch 92 movably disposed opposite to the base 91; a driving mechanism 93 to cause the punch 92 to linearly reciprocate; and an operation lever 94 for driving the driving mechanism 93. The grommet 1 inserts the cylindrical part 2b of a washer 2 for grommet into the grip from the base plate side and inserts the inserted cylindrical part 3b of the grommet body 3 into the cylindrical part from the grip side to secure the grip to the base plate. In the device for separating the grommet 90, the base plate securing the grip with the grommet 1 is placed on the base 91, the punch 92 is moved by the operation lever 4 via the driving mechanism 93, the bent base 3c of the inserted cylindrical part 3b of the grommet body 3 is broken by the punch 92, and the washer 2 for grommet and the grommet body 3 are separated.
