To provide a cushion mounting structure of a straddling type vehicle capable of acquiring favorable riding comfortability by certainly absorbing impact from a wheel by increasing the stroke length of a cushion unit.
A rear wheel 17 is supported on a suspension arm 103 by connecting an upper arm 101 and a lower arm 102 constituting the suspension arm 103 to the left and right of a supporting frame 63 constituting a car body frame 11. One end side of the cushion unit 113 is supported on the car body frame 11, and the other end side of the cushion unit 113 is supported on the upper arm 101 through a link member 112 and a push rod 114. The cushion unit 113 is arranged so that a first end part 113a supported on the car body frame 11 is positioned on the inside in the car body widthwise direction of the car body frame 11, a second end part 113b supported on the side of the suspension arm 103 is positioned on the outside in the car body widthwise direction of the car body frame 11 and its axis extends in the car body longitudinal direction by crossing the car body frame 11.
