Title:
COLUMN BASE OF WOODEN FRAMEWORK AND JOINT STRUCTURE OF SILL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0960113
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To prevent the lower end of a column base from sinking into a sill by interposing a bottom board between the lower end face of a column base and the top of a sill and joining a joint metal fitting across the sill and the column base, penetrating through the bottom board.

A bottom board 11 is set up on the top of a sill 1 so that a bending piece 15 on both sides may run along both side surface of a sill 2. Then, an upper half of a tenon metal fitting 8 inserted into a mortise in the sill 2 is projected upward from a through hole of a horizontal main body 12. A projecting part of the tenon metal fitting 8 is inserted into a mortise 5 of a column base 3. The tenon metal fitting 8 is fixed with a drift pin 10 driven into through holes 6 and 9 from the side surface of the sill 2. Then, it is set up on the top of the horizontal main body 12 of the bottom board 11 and fixed with a pin 10 driven into pin insertion holes 7 and 9 of the column base 3 and the tenon metal fitting 8. This construction makes it possible to prevent the column base 3 from sinking into the sill 2 by the weight of a building after it is constructed and protect the building from any possible deformation.
