PURPOSE: To reduce the heat radiation quantity from the outside surface of the oven walls and achieve higher thermal efficiency by decreasing the contact area of the inner side iron plate reinforcing frame and outer side iron plate reinforcing frame material and bonding material of the coating drying oven.
CONSTITUTION: The walls of the coating drying oven 10 are constituted by a inner side iron plate 32, outer side iron plate 38, inner side iron plate reinforcing frame material 40, outer side iron plate reinforcing frame material 44 and a bonding material 42 for bonding the foregoing both reinforcing frame materials. The contact area of the frame material 40 and frame material 44 respectively, and the bonding member 42 is decreased. To decrease this contact area, the seams of the respective parts are made smaller or the respective parts are bonded by spot welding or the like. Hence, the diffusion of the heat from the oven inside to the oven outside through the route of the iron plate 23 → frame material 40 → member → frame material 44 → iron plate 38 is reduced. By interposing a heat insulating member 34C between the iron plate 38 and frame material 44, the heat insulation performance of the oven walls is further improved.
