Abstract:
PURPOSE:To eliminate rupture of a support or castable, by fitting a mechanically separated movable coupling to a support holding a shround to a shell for absorbing any displacement of the shroud caused by thermal expansion. CONSTITUTION:This system is composed of radially arranged supports 4, tubular bodies 41 fixed by one end to the inner wall of a shell 1, rods 42 inserted in the tubular bodies 41 by one end and fixed to the outer wall of the shrouds 3 by the other end and of insulating filler 43. Since the tubular bodies 41 are radially connected movable with the rods 42 through the insulating material 43 to form movable couplings 4a between supports 4, any large displacement of the shrouds 3 caused by thermal expansion can be absorbed by the movable couplings 4a.
