Abstract:
To provide a bridge die for extruding an aluminum alloy shape capable of extruding even a zinc-containing aluminum alloy without generating any cracks at a root portion of a male mandrel.
In the bridge die for extruding an aluminum alloy shape consisting of a male die 2 to mold a hollow portion of a hollow shape combined with a female die 3 to mold an outer circumferential portion of the hollow shape, an outer face 7 of a bridge part 5 of the male die 2 is formed with the angle of inclination of 30-45° (the bridge angle α) with respect to the center axis of extrusion.
