PURPOSE: To enable obtaining, even in a 60Hz specification, a torque equal to that in a 50Hz specification by changing, at the time of 60Hz power application, a part of the coil constituting each phase winding at the time of 50Hz power application.
CONSTITUTION: At the time of 50Hz power application, a U-phase winding extending from a phase terminal U1 to a phase terminal U4 via respective coils u1∼u8 successively, a V-phase winding extending from a phase terminal V1 to a phase terminal V4 via respective coils v1∼v8 successively, and a W- phase winding extending from a phase terminal W1 to a phase terminal W4 via respective coils w1∼w8 successively are constituted respectively. At the time of 60Hz power application, on the other hand, a U-phase winding extending from a phase terminal U3 to the phase terminal V1 via respective coils u2∼u8, and v1 successively, a V-phase winding extending from a phase terminal V3 to the phase terminal W1 via respective coils v2∼v8, and w1 successively, and a W-phase winding extending from a phase terminal W3 to the phase terminal U1 via respective coils w2∼w8, and u1 successively are constituted respectively.
